ABYSS FUERTEVENTURA is owned and run by English couple Simon & Hannah (and Archie our son). Simon is a RAID Master Instructor & PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, and Hannah is a PADI Assistant Instructor. After 23 years in the British Army Simon had worked in Thailand, Vietnam and Greece for a number of years, gaining a lot of experience in all types of diving. They Provide safe diving in small groups with lots of fun. Abyss is one of the dive centers approved by the Canary Government by meeting all safety regulations. Thank you so much Hannah (& Simon) for a wonderful day of diving. We did 2 dives yesterday and enjoyed every minute of it (apart from putting those wetsuits on 🤭). Hannah makes you feel super comfortable and safe in the water, she even took wonderful pictures of us while diving. Awesome souvenirs. She also provided juice & cookies, yum!
We did our Open Water Diving Course at Abyss. This was our first diving experience. We were able to do our theory online beforehand. From the first moment, our instructor Simon was really clear, professional and patient with all our mistakes. Simon will make sure you control every skill needed to be qualified. Thanks to Simon, I know I am skilled and am confident to go diving anywhere in the world 🙂
La semana pasada fui al PADI Adventure Dive Digital Imaging y a una inmersión divertida. Realmente disfruté las inmersiones con Abyss. Es un negocio familiar y por lo tanto los grupos son pequeños lo que lo hace muy personal y no hay mucha gente en el agua. Están utilizando equipo adecuado y trajes de neopreno nuevos. Tanto Hannah como Simon son muy profesionales y extremadamente serviciales. Recibí todas las fotos y vídeos realizados durante el curso poco después de las inmersiones; incluyendo foto de un pulpo enorme y video de un tiburón ángel.. ¡excelente servicio!
¡Simon y Hannah son los mejores! ¡Son muy amables, serviciales, entusiastas y sobre todo muy buenos instructores! Nos hicieron sentir 100% cómodos y seguros. Los materiales son de muy buena calidad y están actualizados. ¡Cuidan el medio ambiente bajo el agua y son muy respetuosos con la vida marina! ¡Y mientras tengas a Hannah contigo, estás seguro de que encontrarás pulpos! I did my Open Water and Advanced Open Water certificates with Simon and Hannah. They are such great teachers and people. The dives were so much fun. I am so glad I was able to do the certificates with them and feel confident that I can use the skills I learned in the future. I can't recommend them enough!
